| This module introduces the students to critical issues in the study of Personality. How to develop a common framework on which to explain the individual differences in Personality? This question will be looked at from the Psychodynamic approach, Trait theories, Humanistic theories, Behaviourist approaches, and Social Cognitive approaches. We will consider how each theory explains personality structure, development, motivation, and psychopathology. Critical discussion of the validity of the different theories of Personality. |
