Description
News sources, fieldwork, research and interview techniques will be taught. Students will learn to write feature articles as well as hard news. Use of new media technologies for information gathering. Processes of news making and news production. Characteristics and constraints. Layout and design. Introduction to news editing. Roles, responsibilities and ethics of journalists and editors. Rights, values, roles and responsibilities of journalists in the socio-cultural and political context.
