This module provides students with a unique opportunity to study all aspects of pathogenesis of some medically important metazoan parasites with the central focus on host-parasite specificity/interactions. It incorporates topics like basic biology and life cycle of selected platyhelminthes and nemathelminthes, zoonotic infection, evasion of host immune responses, innae immuni;ty, antigen processing and presentation amongst others.
