This module will start with simple species interactions and then explore community structure covering topics like importance values,biodiversity and ecosystem functions, ecotones and lanscapes. Aspects of applied community ecology will be covered such as habitat destruction and the extinction debt, keystone effects and global change and resulting species interactions and distribution.
