| This module deals with the different aspects of plant growth and development with topics on phytohormones and growth regulators, tropism, photoperiodism, nastic movements, photomorphogenesis and seed dormancy and germination. Mechanisms operating at a higher level in the animal kingdom are discussed, namely relating to the life cycle, control and regulatory systems, reproduction and development, the nervous system, the endocrine and the musculo-skeletal systems. |
