| This module deals with various aspects of plant bioenergetics and biochemistry, and provides an overview of the vertebrate anatomical organisation. Topics in the plant component include energy conservation in photosynthesis, photosynthetic electron transport and carbon assimilation and metabolism. The animal physiology component focuses on the understanding of how individual cells, tissues and organs are coordinated and integrated to different physiological functions of the organisms and life support systems such as the cardiovascular, respiratory, alimentary and urinary systems. |
