This module will be aimed at students interested in the teaching of English (language and literature) at upper secondary level in Mauritius. Some of the issues that will be explored will be: Curriculum development, syllabus design, choice of texts and materials, assessment and assessment criteria. Workshops and seminars will the main approach used for this course and will expect students to generate and produce materials and activities for use in classrooms.
