Students will be exposed to the importance of quantitative research methods with emphasis on qualitative techniques such as Focus Group Interviewers, ethnography, participant observation, content and discourse analysis among others. thelatter part of themodule will expose students to the various survey methods that exist and the techniques that accompany them such as questionnaire design, sampling and data coding using the SPSS package.
