| This module aims at providing current information on the medical and surgical management of the diabetic foot management. In this module the student will be given training in the clinical examination and identification of the at-risk patient, which presents key questions for identifying ulcer risk and assessing a diabetic foot wound. Differential diagnosis, causes, and management of the foot disease will be covered. Knowledge about well-established protocols, principles, and treatments will also be imparted. |
