This module comprises a general background to Modern Hindi Poetry and Prose. It aims to provide the student with the general knowledge of the historical, social and cultural basis of modern Hindi literature including the main trends and movements therein.
The second part of this Module is an important component of Hindi Literature, which will provide the student with a deep knowledge of the main works of selected poets.
