| This module introduces the students to the discipline of anthropology and the sub disciplines of this
field of study such as archaeology. The students will be given an overview of the history of the field,
the way it became a discipline with its own methods of research and field of study, its aims and scope,
as well as main anthropological concepts such as culture, cultural diversity, ethnocentrism, cultural
relativism, etc. |
