| This module studies the anatomical, physiological, and metabolic abnormalities in acute and chronic illness and the role of nutritional therapy in their prevention and care. Topics include nutritional assessment, nutritional pharmacology, starvation, infection, trauma, cancer, diabetes mellitus, and renal, cardiovascular, pulmonary, skeletal, neurological, liver, and gastrointestinal disorders. |
