This module integrates financial management and control with the aim of enabling mangers' of tourism and hospitality organizations to maximise shareholders' value. It covers published financial statement analysis; financial planning and forecasting; company valuation methods; capital investment appraisal methods; risk, return and cost of capital; and capital structure and dividend policy; performance management; decision making techniques. It provides students with a theoretical and applied understanding of financial management as an integral part of corporate strategy. The module lays particular emphasis on the financial management in hospitality and tourism organizations.
