Description
Students will be introduced to concepts such as statistic, sampling and survey design and analysis. The module will the allow students to have hands on experience with some of the most common statistical packages used in the discipline of social science such as SPSS, Nudist and Atlas.ti and explore the links that exist in the treatment of quantitative and qualitative based data. Sessions will be conducted in seminar style and students will have to produce a portfolio for which they will be assessed
