| This module will introduce students to fundamental concepts in Political Science, such as definitions of political science, power and authority, elections, legitimacy and ideology. Students will learn about the nature of politics and the formation of the state and government. The operation of political institutions and their influence on the behaviour of political actors will also be discussed. Core concepts such as autocracy, military rule, one-party state and democracy will be studied |
