This one semester module will deal with important themes in the field of human rights. It will examine
issues like the universality of human rights, the question of humanitarian intervention, human rights in
Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights, the impact of the establishment of an
International Criminal Court and the relations between the war on terror and human rights.
