Archives Conservation. Site conservation. Museum Cons ervation. Conservation Ideals, Practices and Ethical concerns. Use and patronage. Conservation versus Access. Cultural heritage in Education and Recreation. Rights and obligations. Cultural Resource Management. Archaeol ogy and the Public. Preserving the past. Conservation of World Heritage Sites/Landscapes. Impacts of heritage tourism. Po litics of Heritage and Conservation. Communications Strategy, Market Research and Operations. Human Resources Management and Strategic Planning. Buffer Zone and Core Zone Management. Students can specialize in conservation by taking a prac tical elective in: archival, iconographic, archaeological, architectural or urban conservation. Specialization is to be designated at the start of the programme.
