Concept and definitions of Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security. Key dimensions and components of food security: Availability, access, utilisation and stability. Concepts related to Food Security: vulnerability, hunger, malnutrition, poverty, gender, and youth. Food Security Analysis: Importance, causes and characteristics of food insecurity, conceptual frameworks for analysis of food security. Concepts of Sustainable Agriculture, Climate Smart Agriculture, Low External Input Sustainable Agriculture, Agroecology, Biofarming, Biodynamic Agriculture.
