Introduction to Information Technology and its potential in Landscaping. Graphic Design Elements and Principles. Compositional Strategies. 2D tools for landscape design (Inkscape, GIMP, Illustrator, and Photoshop). 3D tools for landscaping (Sketchup, Autocad). 3D rendering tools (e.g. VRay). Presentation tools (PowerPoint, Scribus, InDesign). Cloud computing and the Web - the potentials offered by cloud computing and basic web design. Database tools. Introduction to GIS.
