The module aims at recognising the principles of negotiation for marketers and cultivating skills of effective negotiators. Module content: Principles of Negotiation for marketers, Characteristics and Abilities of an Effective Negotiator in the field of marketing, Forming the Right Atmosphere for Negotiation, Classifying Clear Objectives and Agenda Setting, Evaluating the Opposition – Choosing a Strategy, Organising Yourself as a marketer and Avoiding Critical Mistakes, Planning and Preparing for Negotiation, Managing Negotiation Process, Negotiators' Strategies and Tactics, Making a Proposal and Responding to Ploys, Distinguish Interests and Issues to Avoid Unnecessary Positions, Understand and Manage Different Behaviours and Difficult Situations in marketing, Leading the Negotiation Process to a Close, The Marketing Negotiator's Guide – Preparation Checklist.
