The project/dissertation is a module that provides the students with the opportunity to design, undertake
or conduct an independent piece of research or study related to their Programme of Studies under the
guidance of a supervisor.
Students will write a research project in an area of concentration. Each student is expected to start
developing and defining his/her ideas about the research project in consultation with a supervisor during
the second year. This process of selecting and refining a research project topic will be conducted in the
context areas of concentration as well as individualised readings. Students have to research and organise
their readings throughout their second year. After consulting with his/her supervisor, each student will
submit a research project proposal (2-3 pages excluding a bibliography) at the end of the second year.
Le projet/la dissertation est un module qui donne la chance aux étudiants de concevoir, d’entreprendre et
de mener une recherche indépendante ou une étude en relation avec leur programme d’études sous la
supervision d’un directeur.
Les étudiants rédigeront un « projet de recherche » sur un thème précis. Chaque étudiant doit
développer et définir ses idées à propos du « projet de recherche » en consultation avec un directeur de
recherche au cours de la deuxième année. Ce processus de choisir et d’affiner un thème pour le « projet
de recherche » sera mené en fonction du thème choisi et des lectures personnelles. Les étudiants doivent
mener des recherches et organiser leurs lectures tout le long de la deuxième année. Suite à une rencontre
avec son directeur de recherche, chaque étudiant soumettra une proposition de recherche (2 -3 pages
excluant la bibliographie) à la fin de la deuxième année.
