Description
Agriculture as the basis for food security and sustainable development. Interactions of climate change and food systems. Mitigation and co-benefits. Risk, hazard and disaster management. Uncertainties and unknowns. Ethical dimensions. Interlinkages between food security and water, land, energy, human health, labour, poverty, gender, population demographics, projected changes in diet, functional food trade liberalisation, conservation, technological innovations including GM crops, economic prosperity.
