Description
Taxonomy, systematic, biology, ecology and economic importance of pests, plant pathogens and weeds affecting crops. Control and management of pests, diseases and weeds of crop plants. Concept and principles of IPM. Biological, physical, chemical, cultural, biology-based, genetic bio-technological and legal methods of pest control. Botanical pesticides and bio-pesticides. Pest-resistant transgenic crops (GMOs).
