| ENG 5209 – BOLLYWOOD SPACES
This module explores what is possibly the most prolific film industry in the world. It will
analyse the way Bollywood text constructs itself for instance, through its narrative, its
characters, its music score, its song-and-dance sequences, its clothes, its reading of East and
West, of purity and of good and evil. It may also investigate the reception of Bollywood by
various audiences as part of the space it creates. |
