Adopting the view that there is no best method or no best way for any teacher to teach English, this
module reflects on some of the key principles that underlie the English language learning experience.
The main question that will be addressed in this module is: What are the insights that can be gained
from relevant academic disciplines? Students will also be encouraged to translate these insights into
practice in classroom settings
