Description
The focus of our reading and writing will be on current discourses on cosmopolitanism and its cultural politics. Students will read a selection of literary texts to understand how different writers approach issues of identity, community, rights and nation. What are the connections and differences between cosmopolitanism and globalisation, between cosmopolitanism and transnationalism?
