During Year 2, students are expected to start developing and defining their ideas about the Research
Project in consultation with a supervisor. Students will research and organise their readings throughout
the second year. The process of selecting and refining a Research Project topic in either French or
Creole will be conducted in the context of Departmental areas of concentration as well as individualised
readings. Each student will submit a Research Project proposal (2-3 pages excluding a Bibliography)
upon request by the Department.
