| Description |
| This module will be compulsory for students not holding an ‘A’ level in Physics.
This module will include general physics (physical quantities and units, measurement techniques), Newtonian physics (kinematics, dynamics, work, power and energy), matter (phases of matter, deformation of solids, ideal gases, temperature, thermal properties of materials), magnetism, electricity and nuclear physics.
The contents will be tailored to the requirements of Department of Health Sciences programmes.
