The placement can be effected any time after the end of Semester 1 of Year 4 (November-December) and must be completed by the end of the same academic year. The placement must last for a minimum of 6 weeks full-time or 11-12 weeks part-time. After the placement, the student has to submit a placement report for assessment. An interview concerning the placement may be carried out if deemed necessary by the department.
