Data Collection and Organisation; Sample Survey; Frequency Distributions and Presentation of Data Measures of Central Tendency, Dispersion and Skewness. Introduction to Probability. The Normal Distribution Point Estimation and Interval Estimation. Hypothesis Testing. One sample and two sample procedures. Students will be introduced to the use of different statistical tests and software packages. This module is also designed to enable students to search bibliographical databases efficiently and effectively.
