This module will explore the evidence for evolution and mechanisms of natural selection. The principles of classical and modern taxonomy will be investigated using examples from microbes, plants and animals. An overview of different phyla of animals and divisions of non vascular plants with emphasis on morphology, identifications, life histories, interrelationships and classification will also be given.
